PROJECTS

Jordyn Lorenz (Yellow Wood Productions) and Cheryl Tanner (In Alignment Productions), partnered to co-write/direct/produce, "Voices in the Woodwork: Honoring Six Women Who Survived to Tell." Telling the real-life stories of six courageous women, "Voices" takes the audience on a tumultuous journey through the joys of innocence, the depths of abuse violence and addictions, to mountaintops of victory. Through dramatic interpretation the audience is given the opportunity understand the realities of living with, and struggles of overcoming, domestic and sexual abuse.

"Voices" made its debut at M2 in The Heights, Houston, November 30 through December 8, 2007. 100% of the proceeds went to support the Houston Area Women's Center.

Congratulations "Voices" - In response to the duo’s efforts, Mayor Bill White proclaimed November 30, 2007, “Artists Against Domestic and Sexual Violence Day” in the city of Houston. View the Proclamation.
